If you are looking for something different and elegant that fits with the theme of Beauty and the Beast check this DIY out. This centerpiece will look absolutely beautiful at your quinceañera or any other type of event.
For this Beauty and The Beast inspired DIY, you will need:
- Tall Glass Vase
- Round Cutting Board
- Floral Foam
- Round Candle Holder
- Transparent Thread
- Faux Clear Crystals
- Red Roses (big and small)
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Turn your glass vase upside down. Now take the cutting board and glue it to the top of the vase.
Once the cutting board is glued in place, take the floral foam and glue it on top of the cutting board. Add the red roses to the floral foam. Make sure to add green leaves to the rose arrangement for an extra pop of color.
Glue the end of the transparent thread to the middle of a small rose. Before you cut the thread, measure it making sure that the rose is suspended two inches from the bottom. You want the illusion that it’s floating inside the vase.
When you have the clear thread measured, glue it to the inside of the vase. Hold the thread in place until the glue dries all the way, to make sure it doesn’t fall off.
Grab the round candle holder and turn it upside down. Remove the plastic surface bumpers that come on the bottom of the candle holders. Take a few loose petals and glue them to the surface of the candle holder.
Step 6: (Optional)
If you want to add lighting to the centerpiece, make sure that you do it before continuing to the next step. For lighting options, check the second video out.
Add glue around the candle holder, and place the glass vase with the flower arrangement on top. Hold the glass vase in place until the hot glue dries all the way to make sure it glues properly to the candle holder.
Add the clear crystals around the bottom of the flower arrangement.
