Achieve a beautiful and inexpensive centerpiece with this DIY. It’s perfect for any type of event on a budget!
To make these DIY dollar store glass centerpieces you will need:
- One 8 inch glass bowl
- Two 2-packs of low sitting candle holders
- Three tapered 4-inch candle holders
- E6000 glue
- Hole puncher (optional)
- Plastic plate (optional)
Take one of the tall candle holders and glue one of the low sitting candle holders on top. Repeat the step to another set of high and low candle holders.
Allow everything to dry all the way in between each step.
Add the third 4-inch candle holder on the top of your vase and glue it down with your E6000 glue.
For the last part of the vase, you will need to glue together the last two low sitting candle holders making them look like a sphere and gluing them to the very top of your vase.
Once everything is dry, add E6000 glue to the very top of the vase and place your 8-inch glass bowl on the top. Allow the glue to get tacky. Once the glue is tacky, make sure that the glass bowl is in the right place. When everything is looking nice and straight, place a heavy book on top and allow the glue to dry all the way.
Your centerpiece can be left the way it is now. All you have to do is add flowers inside the glass bowl. If you want you want to take it a step further follow these next steps.
Take one of your plastic plates and create four even spaced out holes with your hole puncher.
Use sparkly beads and let them hang from the holes that you have just created to add extra sparkle to your centerpiece.
Place the plate on top of the glass bowl and let the beads hang on the sides. To secure the plastic plate to the glass bowl you can use your E6000 glue to glue it in place.
For your final step of this homemade quinceanera centerpiece, you can add flowers on the top of the plastic plate or any decoration that fits the theme of your party!
