Paris Theme Quinceañera

Paris is ALWAYS a good idea ♥

It’s the city of love, and we most definitely fell in love with this Paris themed quinceanera! Although the Eiffel Tower is a key symbol of Paris, this Parisian quinceañera put a different spin on it and focused on Paris’s chic little coffee shops. They wanted to make the atmosphere feel like as if you were actually walking around Paris. Hopefully, this real quince can give you some ideas, tips, and inspiration on your own Paris theme. This quinceañera definitely gave the guests a glamorous, yet chic night out in Paris!

Meet the Quinceañera

Meet Karla, everyone. She has been obsessed with all things Paris since the age of six. What’s not to love about an amazing city full of art and history?! She dreams of the day she gets to visit Paris one day and although she was given the choice between visiting Paris or having a quinceañera, she knew that she only turned 15 once, and she wanted a unique, amazing, and of course, a Paris themed quinceañera.

La Familia

Family is absolutely key is it comes down to planning a quincea era like this! Karla’s mom played a huge role in helping plan. One of the biggest tips to do when planning, is to start with Pinterest. You can check out our Pinterest page full of ideas here! They also saw a lot of inspirational posts on Instagram.

Getting Ready

Karla’s room is decorated in simple, cute Paris theme items, such as the pictures behind her dress. She chose to do a blush-colored off the shoulder dress with amazing beaded detail and a ruffled skirt, which she bought from’s Elegant Boutique. This color looked great with her Paris theme quinceañera! Don’t be afraid to try different colors as well for your dress!

On your big day, you may encounter some emotional moments, so make sure your makeup artist is on it when those happy tears start ruining your makeup.  Karla’s hair and makeup person was definitely on point. This look was made possible by the talented Priscila T, also known as Beauty by Pri!

The Court

Her damas looked absolutely stunning in their grey colored dresses with the matching heels! The grey complimented the pink very nicely!  One tip Karla and her mom can give to future Quince Queens and mothers planning quinces, is to plan ahead and make sure all the damas get their dresses and shoes on time!

While taking photographs, don’t forget to get memorable shots with your court! Get some inspiration on photo ideas for your court here.

Another unique aspect of Karla’s Paris themed quinceañera was that she had her ceremony outside of the venue, The ImperialCan you believe that it rained on her big day… and right before the ceremony it stopped?! We can all imagine that the ceremony was simply beautiful.

Karla was also crowned after her ceremony. The elegant and dazzling crown was chosen from Oscar Felix!

Parisian Decorations

Decoration plays a huge role when planning any themed quinceañera! For this Paris quinceanera theme, Karla and her mom trusted their decorator, Shic And Simple, and she exceeded their expectations by far! Make sure you keep an open line of communication with your decorator and trust in their creative skills! Karla and her mother wanted specifically a bike to go with their Paris cafe theme. They asked, and they received. Make sure you tell your decorator what you want, and that way you can happily enjoy your day!

From these pictures, you can see they incorporated Eiffel Towers and metal candelabra candle holders as centerpieces for their guests’ tables. For the court’s table, it was slightly different. Each dama had a small box placed at their chairs. Karla and her mother included personalized bracelets for each of the girls, as a thank to them for being part of Karla’s Paris theme quinceañera.

Desserts & Cake

One of the key things Karla and her mother envisioned was to re-create their own little Paris coffee shop, filled with sweet delights. Thankfully, Shic and Simple did an amazing job with this. All the desserts and cakes were made by Lisy Sweetsand she did not disappoint! There were macaroons, cookies, cake pop and more!

Special Moments

We can’t forget about the precious memories you will make during your quinceañera reception. Like most quinces, there’s the cutting of the cake, the “cambio de zapatillas”, and of course the father-daughter dance. For this Paris themed quinceañera, Karla actually had two special dances, one with her father, and one with her mother.  Karla and her dad danced to the song “No Crezcas Mas” by  Tercer Cielo. Her dance with her mother was also very special. They danced to Alejandra Guzman’s song, Yo Te Esperaba, and her mother sang to her while they danced. There were a lot of heartfelt moments throughout this quince… no wonder it’s the city of love!

One of Karla’s favorite parts of her Paris theme quinceañera was the “Loca Hora”, or crazy hour. “Hora Loca” included glow sticks and balloons. Everyone was just dancing around and having fun! One of Karla’s biggest tips she wanted to give to future quince queens was “don’t stress out too much, just be in the moment and have fun! It’s a once in a lifetime thing”.

A lot of thought and inspiration went into this Paris theme. The quinceañera and her guests all got a taste of the city of lights… at least for the night! Be sure to also check out the vendors that helped put all of this together, and local vendors in your area who can make it happen for you!
